Partnerships & Awards

As much as we’d like to take all of the credit for ourselves, several of Macy’s sustainability achievements would have ended before they began without the collaboration and recognition of companies and organizations also striving to protect the environment. These partnerships, along with our own continued efforts, have also allowed us to gain recognition in our communities. Under a united front, the opportunities for sustainability are endless.

Did you know? The current four-year remodeling project at Macy’s Herald Square flagship store in New York City includes an aggressive energy optimization component.
